“Made In The USA” Section To be Included In The 2012 The Horse Industry Resource Guide

Any equine product that is made in America will be included for free in a special “Made In The USA” section of the 2012 The Horse Industry Resource Guide.

Horse product manufacturers have until October 1, 2011 to get their information for inclusion in the section for next year’s guide.

The Horse Industry Resource Guide, which in 2011 included more than 100,000 horse businesses, product manufacturers, horse trainers, vets, etc. is digitally published each year by One Horse Press.  It includes a national section featuring horse products, services, and breed and show organizations.  The “state” section includes services ranging from tack shops and feed stores to horse trainers and boarding stables.

“As horse owners we can help our economy by purchasing products for our horses that are made in the USA,” says Laurie Cerny, owner of One Horse Press.  “Many of us longtime horse owners continue to spend a decent amount of money on our horses.  By purchasing tack, clothing, and horse products that are made in America we can use our horse habit to help keep jobs here in the United States.”

The section will be in addition to the basic business listings in the guide.  A basic business listing, which includes the business name, phone number, and address is free.  In addition, upgraded listings are available for just $10 for a bolded listing that includes an email address and web site, or $20 for 75 words of descriptive text.
