Diane, an Arroyo Grande resident since 2005, has a long list of accomplishments on the world stage. Currently she is preparing to represent the United States in the Para-Equestrian World Championships for Single Drivers – her seventh appearance since 2002 – competing in the sport of Combined Driving. Sharon Jantzen visits with Diane and shares her story.

“Photography is all about learning to see things from a different point of view. It’s a language of emotion, and motion is emotion,” continued Elisabeth as she described her forte, and favorite type of photography – animal action photography. “People respond best to pictures which display emotion.” Sharon Jantzen travels back along Cambria resident Elisabeth Haug’s life journey, recording the sequences of her life which involves horses and now taking pictures of horses.

It’s one of the largest High School Rodeos in the country – the Mid-State Classic Rodeo, held at the Paso Robles Event Center November 17th-19th. Several local teen rodeo stars enjoyed much success and they share glimpses of the weekend with us.
