Do you desire better “contact” with your horses? Do you want to learn the skills necessary for Cowboy Dressage? Well, look no further than the Dream Horse Ranch in Arroyo Grande, who will be hosting Christi Rains twice this May. She will begin with the “Game of Contact Clinic” from May 4-6 and follow that up with a “Cowboy Dressage Clinic” on May 12-13.
Christi Rains is a level 4 licensed Parelli natural horsemanship instructor. She comes all the way from her ranch in Texas, about 40 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Rains is one of only 5 to be certified to teach Game of Contact, and she is the Texas Ambassador for Cowboy Dressage, so the Central Coast is in for a treat! “Her diversity of disciplines is all based around understanding the bio-mechanics of the horse.”
Game of Contact with Christi Rains – May 4-6
Do you feel stuck in your working relationship with your horse? Do you feel that your horse isn’t understanding or responding to your cues? Maybe you need to learn Linda Parelli’s Game of Contact, which teaches the rider what good contact with the horse feels like and helps the horse to accept contact with his rider. So many horses learn to anticipate and even fear contact from the incorrect use of aids or of discipline. Help set your horse right again and strengthen your relationship with the natural horsemanship Game of Contact!
Cowboy Dressage with Christi Rains – May 12-13
“When dressage suits your needs but a Stetson fits your lifestyle”. Are you interested in teaching your horse the basic of dressage, but you prefer your western saddle? Who better to learn from than the Texas Ambassador for Cowboy Dressage herself! Cowboy Dressage is one of the biggest up-and-coming disciplines, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn from an expert!
