Moments of The Movement Symposium 2019 were a combination of watching Monty Roberts gain a horse’s trust and acceptance coupled with hearing from experts in equine behavior, human psychology, research and science. Sharon Jantzen brings us highlights of The Movement Symposium 2019.
All the Grand Cheval Carriage Services horses take turns taking show visitors for short rides in the Wagonette. “We do this to give people a taste of what a carriage ride is like,” explains Anita who does not charge for the rides. She will have her team at the Best of the West Antique Equipment Show 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, 2019. The Intro to Carriage Driving Day was enjoyed by all. Several Brass Oaks Driving Society members hitched up their draft horse, horse, pony or miniature horse to a cart or carriage and let participants take the lines and drive as they sat beside them. Sharon Jantzen experienced the day and shares the highlights with us.

“Most of these kids have never been on a horse,” Mindy Smith explains. “I want to share that miracle with them.” Mindy opens her Rocky Mountain Horse Ranch up to kids several times a year. Jennifer Mizrahi experiences Kid’s Day and shares her joy with us.
