Noted trainer and clinician Charles Wilhelm, whose television program can be seen on HRTV (DishTV channel 404), is hosting a variety of clinics at his beautiful ranch in Northern California. Just a quick drive from San Francisco and the wine country, the ranch is backed by rolling hills and groves of oak trees, and the gentle breezes blow every afternoon.
The clinic schedule includes:
• June 29 – July 1: Woman’s Camp. Charles specializes in encouraging and educating women who are new to horses or returning to horses. He understands the fears and hesitations many women riders experience, and he guides them with kindness and confidence, ultimately leading to joyful successes!
• July 13-15: Ultimate Trail Clinic. Here’s a great opportunity to venture forth out on the trail under the guidance of expert Charles Wilhelm. He’ll teach you and your horse how to safely navigate obstacles, cross creeks, and plain ol’ have fun out on the trail.
• August 2-5: Super Horse Clinic. Is your horse a super horse, or is it your dream for him to become one? Can you carry a flag on your horse, get him to mount a pedestal, and push a cow from one end of the arena to the other? All those challenges — and many more — make the Super Horse Clinic fun and educational. These four days will make both you and your horse super talented!
• September 6-9: Super Horse Clinic.

• October 20: Responsive Riding Clinic. Here’s an opportunity to really hone your riding skills and develop a better seat. Charles will help each individual achieve whatever goal is desired.
• November 3: Ground Manners and Safety. There isn’t a horse magazine in the world that doesn’t have at least two articles about this ever-important topic. Charles will teach you the importance of ground manners and safety, and how they apply to everything you do with horses.
Charles Wilhelm is a headliner at the new AmerEquine Expo in Ft. Worth, Texas, June 1-3. Of course he’ll be at the Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento, California June 8-10 (as he has been for 14 years), and he’ll also headline at the Hawaii Horse Expo, August 11-12.
