Trailer Safety Training

Horse Emergency Evacuation Team Logo

Greetings everyone,

From the Horse Emergency Evacuation Team

Our next training will be Trailer Safety with CHP Officer Ty Murray.  With Spring in the air it’s a good time to take our meeting outside, where everyone is encouraged to bring their tow vehicle and trailers to the class. Officer Murray will be going over trailer safety, hazards of the road and the recent law changes that affect gooseneck trailers. After he is done speaking, he will take a look at our trucks/trailers and give us suggestions if anything needs to be changed.  At this time we have new members back-up and do maneuvers though a course we set up.

When: May 5th

Time:  9:00 AM

Where: Cuesta College Parking lot A-1

Coming from the South: North on Hwy 1, turn left on Hollister, make a right at the stop sign, then a right into A-1 lot.
