In Custom Saddlery’s New Young Ambassador Program
Aiken, SC (May 3, 2012) – Custom Saddlery, makers of handcrafted custom-fit dressage, jumping and event saddles, is proud to announce they are launching a new program called Custom Saddlery’s Young Ambassador Program. The program is designed to educate the future stars of the dressage world about the value of proper saddle fit for horse and rider.
“Every saddle, regardless of discipline, needs to fit properly and our goal through the Custom Saddlery Young Ambassador Program is to teach younger dressage riders about saddle fit, as well as award one deserving young star with a brand new custom-fit dressage saddle,” said Cary Wallace, President and Master Saddle Fitter at Custom Saddlery. “Throughout the show circuit we will be awarding a Custom Saddlery Young Ambassador Award which highlights a young rider who is a good ambassador for the sport of dressage. The good news, however, for all riders under 25, is that everyone is eligible to win the free saddle.”
Wallace is encouraging everyone to visit Custom Saddlery’s website, www.mysaddle.com, and nominate a dressage rider under 25 to win the free saddle. Riders can nominate themselves or a friend. A selection committee that includes top riders like Caroline Roffman and Endel Ots will pick the top five riders at the end of the year, then the country will have the opportunity to vote on the rider they believe deserves to take home a brand new custom-fit dressage saddle.
“At the end of the year everyone will have the opportunity to vote online for a rider they believe deserves a new Custom Saddle, based on need, talent and success. It’s an exciting new program and we look forward to presenting the Custom Young Ambassador Award at the shows and to presenting one deserving young rider with a saddle,” Wallace said.
Custom Saddlery is well known for their host of dressage superstars that ride in their saddles, and for giving away saddles. Over the last year Custom Saddlery gave away five saddles in their All American Saddle Fit Challenge contest. “We had five incredibly happy riders that won saddles. They were all riding on cloud nine when they won, and I know our Young Ambassador will be also,” Wallace said.
