pony club

Marcly Farms and Mesa Meadows Pony Club would love to invite the local horse community to come and watch the USPC Camino Real Horseless Rally being held at Marcly Farms on Saturday, March 23, starting at 7:30 AM.  This rally is designed to introduce the “rally” experience without having the stress of the horse handling to the new up and coming young horsemen and women.  The kids will demonstrate their horse skills and knowledge without the horse. The morning will start with:

7:30 AM – Arrival/Check-In/Set-Up

9:00 AM – Briefing

9:20 AM – Jog-Out

9:40 AM – 1st Turn-out

9:50 AM – 1st Dressage Test

11:45–1:20 PM  – Lunch

1:00 – 1:20 PM – Karen Cornelius’s Musical Freestyle on Dimer

All Day – Crafts

1:20 PM – 1st Safety

1:25 PM – 1st Jumping Round

4:05 PM – Clean-Up

4:35 PM – Awards Ceremony

This is a good opportunity for the community not familiar with the United States Pony Club to learn what USPC teaches our youth. Bring a blanket, chair and snacks, sit back and enjoy watching the kids have a blast showing off their skills.  Parking will be extremely crowded so be considerate of the others coming in and out.  If you come after 8:00 AM, please park on Banneker Place starting at the Marcly Farm fencing or on Cardo and Eucalyptus (walk down Cardo and enter through the Cross Country course) as we will have about 55 children running around…Yikes!!!
