Ride Out On New Adventures With SLO Horse News

In 2014, SLO Horse News brought the SLO county horse community together, educated us on the various equestrian activities, events and products, and introduced us to fellow horse enthusiasts who enjoy our same passions, under the direction of Jake of Wander West; for this we are truly thankful.

Although SLO Horse News has been out to pasture for a few months, we want to continue to pull the horse community together, so a new rider has taken the reins by putting together the beginnings of a team that is passionate about sharing the stories of the vibrant SLO county horse community. We are all tacked up, and ask you to join us as we embark on our first ride.

Sharon 1 profileSharon has called San Luis Obispo County home since attending Cal Poly and graduating with a degree in Ag Business Management. Her riding experience started in Pony Club, with a little Hunter/Jumper thrown in, which branched out to Eventing, and then settled into Dressage; all of this was done mostly on the back of a Connemara. She has also shown Arabians in Dressage and is now investigating Cowboy Dressage on a Rocky Mountain Horse. She has enjoyed countless trail rides, and continues to get out and enjoy the wonder of San Luis Obispo County.
